- Required for office staff? No law names a course, but every employer must manage hazardous manual task risk, and office work qualifies. What baseline training does and does not do.
- Archive boxesA full Type 1 archive box weighs about 15–20 kg, the most common serious lift in an office. Fill lines, trolleys, storage heights and when it needs two people.
- Sit-stand desksAlternate between sitting and standing, set both heights properly, keep the screen at eye level and keep moving. A desk left at one height changes nothing.
- Working from homeYes. A home becomes a workplace when work is done there, so employer and worker duties continue so far as is reasonably practicable. Set-up and reporting.
- Events and meeting roomsPlan the set-up as a manual task: enough people and time, chair dollies and table trolleys, AV cases on wheels, and the goods lift booked before gear arrives.
- Whole-organisation rolloutOne baseline course for all staff, a verifiable certificate per person, refreshers, and more for higher-risk roles. What we can and cannot offer yet.
