Privacy Policy

Information we collect

To issue a Certificate of Completion we collect the name, email address and optional employer or organisation you enter, together with your assessment result and completion date.

Information stored on your device

Your course progress and assessment answers are stored locally in your browser using localStorage, along with a reference to your certificate once one has been issued. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Your certificate record itself is stored on our servers so that it can be verified and re-sent, and does not depend on your browser.

Third-party services

This website uses the following services:

• Stripe, to process payments. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's own payment form and never reach our servers. Stripe receives your name and email address to process the payment.
• Resend, to send your certificate and related transactional emails. Resend receives your name, email address and certificate.
• Microsoft Clarity, to understand how the site is used. Clarity collects usage data such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and device information, and records anonymised session replays. It is used to find usability problems, not to identify individuals, and we do not combine it with your certificate details.
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and stores certificate records.

Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy policy. Some process data outside Australia.

How we use information

We use your information to deliver the training, issue and verify certificates, respond to enquiries and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Certificate verification

A certificate verification page may display the learner name, course name, certificate number and completion date. Email addresses and other private details are never displayed.

Access, correction and complaints

You can request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting info@manualhandlingacademy.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will respond. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
